Mission Statement

The mission of the Tucker High School’s Ambush of Sound Auxiliary, as part of the Ambush of Sound Marching Band, is to promote school spirit and represent as the pride of Tucker High School. We will serve the school and community encouraging the art of dance and color guard, build character and confidence with commitment to excellence and aim to inspire, educate and leave an everlasting legacy.

Purpose

The purpose of the program is to introduce students to the fundamental skills of flag, marching and dance. We believe that auxiliary is a great way for students to become involved with an activity that motivates them to stay academically, mentally, and physically engaged. Students who participate in our program learn the importance of teamwork, time management, and academics while strengthening esteem, confidence and much, much more.

The Ambush of Sound Auxiliary is an essential part of the Ambush of Sound Marching Band’s marching design and musical interpretation.

We use flags, hoops, streamers, and other equipment, along with movement, to express and interpret dynamic passages in the music accompanying the marching band show into stunning visual element.
